U420B (205/360/550) Glass Insulator

The U420B insulator, with its outstanding mechanical performance and anti-pollution capability, is widely used in the following scenarios:

• Voltage Levels: Mainly used in 500kV and above EHV (Extra High Voltage) transmission lines, as well as 750kV and 1000kV UHV (Ultra High Voltage) transmission lines. 

• Heavily Polluted, Coastal, and Industrial Areas: With a long creepage distance of 550mm, it provides excellent anti-pollution flashover performance in areas with salt fog, chemical pollution, or heavy dust.

• High-Altitude and Complex Climate Regions: The product design ensures stable operation under complex weather conditions such as rain, snow, lightning, and icing (with a design ice thickness of 10mm). It can be reliably used in plain and hilly areas with an altitude below 500m.

• Areas Requiring Efficient Maintenance: The "self-shattering upon zero value" feature of toughened glass makes fault points visible to the naked eye, significantly reducing inspection and maintenance costs.
